OK, they are a weed and they've taken over the lawn.... but the seed heads are great to photograph!
Instead of the normal full-headed shot, I've chosen one where the dandelion has hung on to one of it's seeds, almost like a nebulous parasol.

These were taken with my old Nikon D40 - at high ISO in ambient light hence the grain. Kind of works in b&w I think!

I stopped off for lunch, a few days ago, at a nature reserve in Devon hoping to photograph the abundant bluebells.... only to find they were shy and had refused to flower just yet!
On the way into the small woodland reserve, you pass under two railway viaducts, one derelict and one carrying the main line. Years of growth on the old viaduct gave an almost 'rainforest ruin' look and was a 'must capture'!

As of today, I've swapped from a multi-user web based site (Redbubble, which is still up and running if you visit the links page) to my own dedicated space.
I hope to upload my best images here as and when I take/develop them over the coming months. Comments are more than welcome as are requests/suggestions/creative criticism!
